I am writing to you in relation to the ‘Ellen’ daffodil bulbs we bought off of you. We would just like to thank you and compliment you on the bulbs. We are keen gardeners and these are best bulbs we have ever used.
Giving your plant a little shake will help the soil filter around the roots. Wet ground can lead to compaction, inhibiting root growth. Sea Buckthorn is a native, ornamental prickly deciduous hedging plant, commonly found in coastal positions but which also does very well inland, even in very cold positions.
They rely more on building a good reputation. That will always attract good customers instead of push push push of product by second rate service companies. Well packed, great communication throughout, impressed. First time I’ve bought from you, but will certainly do so again.
Also field grown, root ball plants are scooped out of the ground using machinery to keep their root system intact and wrapped in bio-degradable, hessian sacks. They are mature plants that provide dense coverage very early on, ideal for when you need a thick hedge quickly. Cotoneaster franchetii is an ornamental evergreen hedge, with pink tinged flowers in late spring and orange-red berries in autumn.
We would always suggest ordering a handful of extra plants and putting them in the corner of a vegetable patch or flower bed. This should yield more than enough ‘spares’ to fill the occasional gap that comes to light. Bare root hedging – sometimes referred to as European Hornbeam, Common Hornbeam, and also known by its Latin name, Carpinus betulus – is a popular and classic hedge.
It has small, glossy, leaves held on angular, almost horizontal branches reaching a maximum of 1.5m. Box hedging or Buxus sempervirens as it’s also referred to as, is the ideal species for formal, low hedges or borders, as well as being a classic topiary plant. These packs provide a ready-made selection of complementary plants for informal, natural garden hedging. Feed your new hedge with bone meal or slow-release fertiliser, to encourage healthy growth. We have a team who “grade” all our plants by hand.
They have arrived, well packed, very healthy and we are both very impressed with your service. Just to let you know that the above order arrived safely today, impressively packed and is at present relaxing in the greenhouse with VIP treatment !! Many thanks from a very satisfied customer. I’ll be sure to recommend you and buy from you again.
I would like to say thank you for your delivery of the Amelanchier trees. I was very impressed with the quality of the trees together with the through packaging and also supplying an extra tree! My Brother in Law was looking for a Wisteria to replace a previous tree which had died. As he was having difficulty in finding a suitable supplier, I told him about Ashridge Nurseries and how pleased I was about my recent and previous orders. As a result he has placed a order with you. Thanks again for your business and especially during these very difficult times.
